This game is the "Connecting Wall" from Only Connect, a British television quiz show.
The wall consists of sixteen clues, consisting of four groups of four connected items. The implementation below uses Chinese characters with common subcomponents. The wall includes red herrings and more connections than actually exist, such that some cards appear to fit into more than one category.
You can click or tap a card to select it. If you're at a keyboard, you may find it faster to use the keys, like so:

If you have selected four cards which form a valid group, they will fade out and reappear at the top of the board as a highlighted, solved group.
Once you have found all four groups, reload the page for a new game.
